In 1984, Huxley founded and constructed The Enterprise Studios, a multi-media conglomerate to provide services in audio, video, interactive, live productions, & Film DVD authoring. Spanning 30,000 sq. ft in Burbank, CA. and Sherman Oaks, CA.

+ a World Touring division in Las Vegas, In 1994 another 30,000 sq. ft facility dubbed Enterprise Live.

Enterprise Studios employee team of 100 talented crew were as diverse as the colorful crews of Star Trek (multi-racial, multi-national, multi-lingual, multi-genre, identity-inclusive).

7 STUDIO SUITES with gigantic-mixing-consoles consisting of… SSL 101-channel J-9000s, Neve Capricorns, Sony Oxford.

• 2 THX SURROUND STAGES 20 AVID Edit Suites 20 DVD Authoring Suites - design, encode, production.

In 2004 Enterprise was named aS the #2 mixing studio in the world for hits by Billboard Magazine.

Huxley continued to produce and create within his own studios:

• “Walker Texas Ranger” theme song & several seasons were composed & produced by Craig & Jerry team.

• “China Beach” - underscore + songs of the 60’s & 70’s. Craig produced and supervised all 4 seasons.

• “Knots Landing” enjoyed dozens of scores by Craig & collaborator Jerry Immel, also doing some “Dallas” episodes.

• “24” - Craig served as Director of his Enterprise team to provide full Sound Services of Surround Mixing, Foley, ADR and editorial Sound Design for the 1st 5 seasons of the television series “24” starring Kiefer Sutherland. 120 hour-long episodes of “24” enjoyed ticking-time-bomb THX surround remixing provided by Huxley in his Arena … Enterprise Stage A ! beep… beep… beep… beep… bp…bp..bp..bp..bp..bp..bp..bp b b b b b b b bbbbbbb……………….

Enterprise origins Studio

In 1978, Huxley built the first 48-channel large-console dual tape machine home studio in Los Angeles.

Craig continues producing there today.

  Each time Craig provided FOUR SYNCLAVIERS & Direct-to-Disk towers !!!!, Prophet, Oberheim, Yamaha, Roland Jupiter keyboards, EMT 251 (“R2D2”), Lexicons, Quantecs, AKG c12 mics, JBLs, hundreds of accessories and interfaces. Coordinating at all hours day & night for an entire year on each tour.  Whew.

Werner Herzog spent long stretches of time at his Enterprise Avid Edit Suite, interacting with Huxley countless times. Roger Ebert said of Herzog: "Even his failures are spectacular." French filmmaker François Truffaut called Herzog "the most important film director alive." This was sometime in between creating his maniacal epic, “Aguirre: the Wrath of God”... And nowadays starring in “The MANDALORIAN” for Disney’s Star Wars Universe.
